Some of you might recall images of Trooper that I posted back in the winter. He came up to the fence to greet me and I was able to get some very close shots of him. Since then, I knew I wanted to photograph him with some gorgeous sunlight while he was in his pasture. I knew this would be difficult because Trooper comes running when we go to the fence. He longs for attention. Getting him to stay out in the pasture would take a bit of stealth on my part. Well, I got lucky yesterday! Trooper stayed back just long enough for me to get a few shots before he came to the fence. I think he’s just beautiful with the sunlight shining on him. What do you think?
