I found what I thought was a snail shell at the office where Ric works. I put it on a shelf to bring it home and, to my surprise, came back later to find it had been on the move. I found it on the underside of another shelf. I decided to put it in a cup and bring it home so I could photograph it later. The snail obliged and I spent about half an hour in our landscape rocks taking what some would consider too many shots of a snail. Contrary to popular belief, snails move rather quickly. At least they do when you’re trying to take macro shots of them.
Here are a few of my favorites from my afternoon.
