Week eight of my Project 52 is Vintage. I had several things in mind that were readily available to me for this image, but the ones that pulled my heart the most were these items that belonged to my papaw. His reading primer, his report card from the 1927-28 school year, and a hat that he wore quite often. I even have photos of me sitting in his lap and I have this hat on my own head and the biggest smile on my face. As a child, there was no better place for me to be than in my Papaw’s arms.
