I recently had the honor of photographing True for his second birthday. True’s mom, Shavonna, and I have been friends for several years and I am always humbled when asked to photograph a life event for her and her family. Watching True grow and getting updates from his mom about his life are highlights to my days. True wasn’t sure he wanted his photo taken (as you can see in the first image), but he did come around after a bit to give me the sweet smile that just lights up his beautiful eyes.
