Yes, I am obsessed with Schnauzers. If you follow me on Pinterest, you’ve seen my board full of Schnauzer puppies. That said, I’m sure everyone remembers seeing many photos of our sweet Shelby Rae. When we said goodbye to her in February, we weren’t certain we would want another puppy, let alone another Schnauzer. This was short-lived as it only took us a few weeks or so to decide that yes, given a bit of time, we’d like to have another Schnauzer in the house.
Enter Miss Josie Belle. Josie is full of mischief and is not afraid of anything at all. Weighing in at 3.1 pounds at her veterinarian’s visit yesterday, she actually thinks she’s a giant. She torments our other dog, George, any time she is awake. She chases him and barks at him until he finally gets fed up with her and barks back. Guess what? She’s not afraid of that, either.
Don’t get me wrong, Josie is also full of sweetness. She’ll snuggle with us and love on us just as much as we want her to. She has yet to meet a stranger and everyone who meets her thinks she is adorable. That’s the word we hear most often describing her. I think the fact that she is so tiny and cute makes up for all the mischief. It does in my eyes anyway. I’m not so sure about my husband. (wink, wink)
