Exhibits, Exhibits, Exhibits! | Fine Art Photographer Bowling Green KY

Are you looking for something fun to do this weekend in the Bowling Green area? Well, look no further! Check out the local art scene in Bowling Green and Franklin. You won’t be disappointed. Here are some places you can visit and support local artists:

Drive a short distance down I-65 to Franklin, KY and stop in the Gallery on the Square to view the Sunny Sixteen’s “In Reverse” exhibit. This exhibit, sponsored by The Studio on Main, is in conjunction with the Festival on the Square which features an antique car show.

If you take a walk around downtown Bowling Green, you can find an exhibit at The Presbyterian Church at 10th and State streets. This exhibit features art from Christy Long, as well as a few pieces from me. Christy has a gorgeous multi-media piece on display there and it is a must see.

Just a few blocks away, step into The Public Theatre of Kentucky and see lots of pink art that goes hand in hand with the current performance of Cabaret for a Cause. Purchase of tickets for this show, as well as the purchase of any of the art on display, benefits the local Catherine Heltsley Foundation for Breast Cancer.

Lastly, take another short drive to Smiths Grove and visit their branch of the Bowling Green Public Library. There is a nice display of art from a few members of the Sunny Sixteen Club for you to enjoy.

There are just too many opportunities to take in the beauty of art and support local artists while you’re at it!
