Nic | Bowling Green KY Teen Photographer

Sunday, May 22nd, 2011

Nic is a friend of my sons and has quickly become one of my surrogate kids. He’s an awesome young man whom I’ve grown to love in the short time I’ve known him. I often thank his mom for sharing him with our family. He was kind enough to be my test subject at an outing this afternoon and I just had to post this image of him once I got home.

PS…I think I’m the only one who spells his name Nic. To most people he’s Nico. : )

Dalton’s 16th | Bowling Green KY Photographer

Wednesday, November 3rd, 2010

I can’t believe Dalton is 16 years old today. These years really have gone by so quickly! He’s no longer the little boy who “mowed” our lawn with his bubble mower while wearing cowboy boots, a cowboy hat, and his Snoopy shirt. He’s entirely outgrown his Batman pajamas, too. Dalton has grown into a handsome young man with a gentle spirit and loving heart. He has a passion for basketball like I’ve truly not seen before. I’m proud to have him as a son.

Happy birthday, D! Thanks for letting me grab a shot or two of you this afternoon.

Touching Rim | Teens | SOKY Photographer

Friday, September 10th, 2010

Dalton has worked hard for quite some time trying to touch the basketball rim on the goal in our driveway. He was out shooting one evening and I decided to test out a new lens and get some shots of the action. He asked if I would get a shot of him touching rim. Absolutely! I wasn’t even aware that he could do that yet! He helped me choose two favorites from the few minutes we were out there. The first is him “touching rim” and the second is my take on why his middle name is Trey. Fun times!
