I know this pair is the cutest brother and sister you’ve seen! They are so sweet and I just loved being able to capture these images for their mom as the family is celebrating their birthdays this month. Miss {A} was especially funny when there was a cat around for her to talk to. And Mr {A}, well he was busy trying to decide what the purple flowers were that he was standing in while I was taking his picture. I’m so glad their mom decided to join in for a few of the photographs. Isn’t she just beautiful?
We’re working on another photo project for Miss {A’s} Gotcha Day in March and I cannot wait to share those with you as well.

You’ve met Badger and Archer, now meet Julie, the girl who started it all! My husband and I were taking a walk around Fountain Square here in Bowling Green and I looked up to see the sweetest little girl dancing around in these cute little rain boots that looked like ladybugs. I just knew I wanted to try and get a few shots of the girl, so I casually walked up and started photographing her on the sly. I captured a moment between her and her mom and went to show my husband. Her mom, Valerie, came up and introduced herself and asked if I was able to get any photos. I told her yes and she offered to let me take a few more as we were talking. Turns out she creates jewelry and had been a vendor at the street fair that day. I just let Julie do her thing, not really even wanting to photograph her sweet face, though it would have been a plus if I had gotten it. Here are a few of my faves from my time hanging out with Julie and her family.
P.S…Valerie and I are now discussing working together using her jewelry making skills and my photography to offer something special to our clients. Stay tuned for the details!

I met Christina on a photography forum a couple years ago and we hit it off from the start. She came for a visit last year and we had so much fun that she decided to come again this year. She came to Kentucky over the Fourth of July weekend and was able to rest even through all the crazy fireworks going off until the wee hours of the morning. As you can see, Christina is expecting her fifth child. She and her husband will be welcoming a baby boy very soon. I asked to take a few photographs of her while she was here and she most willingly obliged, so I wanted to share a couple of them. Thanks, Christina!

I was trying something new and managed to talk Ric into letting me get a few shots of him. I just had to share since I’ve never posted any images of him before. Blue is my favorite color on him and he just happened to be wearing a blue shirt when I asked for his assistance.
I do love him so!

I truly cannot believe I have been a mom for twenty years!
Megan is our firstborn and our only daughter. She’s our beautiful, funny, artistic girl. We’re so very proud of the young lady she has grown to be. If you’re fortunate enough to be her friend, I guarantee you’ll have a friend for life if you want one. If you see her today, give her a birthday shout out.
We love you, Megan!
And let’s not forget, it’s also Shelby Rae’s birthday as well. She’s ten today! Isn’t it cool that she and Megan share the same birthday? She’s our fur-baby and is completely spoiled rotten! Happy Birthday, Shelby!

Can you believe it’s already been three months since you met Baby {C}? He and his beautiful mom were here this past week for his six month session. We went outside for part of the session and I thought the afternoon sunlight was just gorgeous for these two. I’m sharing images of mom and baby first, but will certainly share some of just {C} in a few days.

Cameron is our youngest son as well as our youngest child. He is passionate about playing electric guitar and skateboarding. His “in your face” attitude is something to admire. He’s one cool teen!
Cameron is fifteen today. Yes, fifteen! It’s just crazy to think he’s going to be a sophomore in high school in a couple of months. Before we know it, he’ll be driving around Bowling Green and doing his own thing.
In the meantime, we’re going to enjoy hanging out with him and watching him grow into a wonderful young man.
Happy birthday, Cameron!

Snow makes the perfect background for photos. You can let loose and have a little fun all while having your photo session. With the beautiful snow falling outside, I would love to hear from you to schedule a session. There is limited availability and I will schedule on a first come-first served basis. Normal session fees, rates, and terms apply. I look forward to hearing from you.

Tiffany and I have been friends since high school and even became family when her mom and my dad married several years ago. I was excited when she called and asked if I would photograph her daughter, Miss {A}, for her third birthday. Tiffany also brought along Miss {C} and Miss {M} so we could get a few photos for a Christmas card. These girls are so cute! I love Miss {A’s} curly hair! Watch for more of her on the blog in the coming weeks.
Thanks, Tiffany, for having me capture this moment for you, Ron, and the girls.
