Warmth | Bowling Green KY Photographer

January 24th, 2012

Many of you know that I’m working on a Project 52, which is a photo each week based on a theme provided to the photographers in the group. Well, I’m also working on a 365+1. It’s a photo every day based on a weekly theme. I wasn’t certain I’d be able to keep up, but so far, so good. A couple of weeks ago our theme was warmth. I thought I’d take a moment to share a few of my faves from that week (along with a close-up which is the theme for this week).

Mattie | Bowling Green KY Pet Photographer

January 19th, 2012

You’ve met Archie. Now meet his sister, Mattie. Mattie is a chocolate lab who just loves to play in the water. I do believe she would fetch a stick from the creek all day long if someone was there to toss it for her. Mattie was such a sweetheart during our session. Very loving and very calm. Aren’t those liquid brown eyes just beautiful!

Just Happy Mattie

A couple of months ago I had the pleasure of meeting Archie and his family. Archie is a Great Dane with the sweetest personality. We met at a local creek, but Archie was a bit afraid of getting in the water. His sister Mattie, however, was not. I’ll share her soon. In the meantime, meet Archie, a very regal being.

Colors of the Holidays | Bowling Green KY Photographer

December 15th, 2011

Project 52 is coming to a close for 2011. I must say, at times it’s been difficult to keep up with taking a photograph each week. I wouldn’t have thought this in the beginning. I’ve gotten behind a couple of times, but have managed to catch up and I’ve only missed one week the entire year.

For the month of December, we’re doing holiday related themes. Week 49 was Jingle Bells and Week 50 is Red, White, and Green. Since we’re possibly not putting up a tree this year (I always enjoy sharing photos of my tree and ornaments), I thought I’d share these two images from P52 with everyone. We’ll see how the next two weeks shake out for me and I just might share those as well.

Early Morning Trooper | Equine Photographer Bowling Green KY

December 9th, 2011

Do you all remember Trooper? He’s the sweet horse from the field beside our house. My previous images of him have been shot from my yard and over the fence. This morning, the frost, the gorgeous morning light, and Trooper, the ever-friendly horse, drew me across the fence. I tried to get a few shots from afar, but Trooper longs for attention and had to come over and get personal. He kept trying to lick my camera. Ha! In the end I had to settle for mostly loving on Trooper and walking away with fewer shots than I planned. Maybe another day…

Meet Miss Paisley! I’d never been around a pug until I met Paisley and I have to say I’m in love. Oh my goodness! She is too sweet! Paisley is a rescue pup who now has a forever family. Is she not the cutest?

Golden Retriever | Dog Photographer Bowling Green KY

October 30th, 2011

I recently had a fun afternoon with Rileah and her parents at a local creek. Rileah is a very active Golden Retriever. She’s on the go, go, go! She’s very friendly and loves to play. I’m pretty sure she would have gotten in the creek if we’d had a towel for her once she got out. She didn’t seem to be afraid of anything. Here are a few of my favorite shots of Rileah from our session.

Because Dalton said I never put any of his senior pics on the blog and because this is Kelsey’s favorite (she loves the eyes), here you go…
